Jack-o-lantern
Late yesterday afternoon, Sammy's tooth finally came out. He was nervous it would be painful to lose a tooth. Once the tooth was in his hand and not in his mouth he was so excited. He kept checking to see if it was time to go to bed. The tooth fairy left him $1, his Lola then gave him $3 today to commemorate the event. Lola's making the tooth fairy look cheap!

ohh. he looks so cute & relieved compared to the picture from yesterday! i will post myles's first tooth loss when i get home today. he looks like hannibal lector & i am not even kidding. yuck! i'm not good with teeth stuff.
How old is he now? (or in other words, how much time do I have before my son starts falling apart?) :)
How much does the fairy charge now for teeth?
sammy will be 6 soon! can you believe it? the tooth fairy in this region pays a dollar, that's it. she is not going to be extorted for any more no matter what lola does. =)
Wow! Smart mom. I mean, tooth fairy. I was thinking about doing just a $1.00 here too. But I was thinking I might get a roll of those gold dollar coins and using those. (I guess it will really depend on how on the ball I am when the blessed event happens... :) ) They aren't really used here so they might be "special."
