Jerry, Baby!!!

After the death of George Carlin, Bobby and I were lamenting the fact that we never saw him perform. He had come to Buffalo not too long before his death, but we opted not to see him.

We were talking about all the comedic greats of our time and we decided Jerry Seinfeld has to be one of the best. We had downloaded some of his performances from iTunes and, after listening to them, made a pact that if we had the chance to see him, we should. A couple months ago, Bob found that Seinfeld had just announced some performance dates in Vegas. So we booked a trip! We're in the nosebleeds (front row nosebleeds though) to see him, and are doing the trip on the cheap, but are really excited for a long weekend together in a warm location. We are staying off-strip in a really nice hotel with a bowling alley and a movie theater and renting a car ($10 a day!).

It's amazing how many days of preparation it takes for a four day trip. Between food preparation, shuffling the dog off to a babysitter, making arrangements with the human babysitter, and just packing, it's going to be a busy few days. I hope it's worth it!
